LEGO hired Shubha from The OrgSmith (formerly HR Strategies),  to conduct Unconscious Bias workshop and explore alternate work models. Working with Shubha has been positive experience for my team and me. Not only did my team thoroughly enjoy the engagement, but we were also able to practically apply the insights gained the very next day. Shubha's approach to fostering diversity and flexible work practices resonated deeply, even with colleagues who were initially uncertain about what to expect. Their feedback was positive and now more open to diversity initiatives.
The exercises presented were engaging and thought-provoking and enlightening.  Our team appreciated the direct approach, especially tailored to cultures like the Danes and Germans, prompting us to challenge our perspectives.

National Library Board
The Public Libraries division of the National Library Board engaged The OrgSmith (formerly HR Strategies), led by Shubha Narayanan, to carry out an Organisation Design focused on job design for Libraries of the Future.  The project included understanding patron’s needs, and desk research to identify key trends in designing Libraries of the Future.
The OrgSmith (formerly HR Strategies) team took the time and effort to really understand the patron’s needs, current work processes and job design of different roles in the library. They facilitated sessions with us, to come up with recommendations that we will be able to take on and implement.  HR Strategies also helped develop prototypes using ‘WHAT IF’ simulation models based on quantitative data.

HDB

I worked with The OrgSmith (formerly HR Strategies) in my capacity as Director, Branch Operations Department. They completed an Organisation Design study for HDB Branch Operations.  The aim of the project is to find out the optimum manpower needs to better meet future needs in an efficient and effective manner.  This was a very massive project.

ISTANA

President’s Office engaged The OrgSmith (formerly HR Strategies) to conduct an Organisation Design project.  The project focused on the staff structure and sizing of our hospitality team.

We found the consultants professional, diligent and knowledgeable in the subject matter. Their work were premised on structured methodologies such as LEAN and AGILE.  They adopted a hands-on approach and paid close attention to details in order to determine the workload analysis through numerous observations, interviews and reviewing journal logs.  Both consultants have developed a good understanding of our processes, therefore have aptly identified critical issues and suggested practical recommendations based on their expertise and sourcing information from the industry and research.  HR Strategies is most open to transfer knowledge, and have trained us in the use of the workload analysis tool in order for us to plan ahead to cater to future workload scenarios using an objective quantitative methodology.

 

It has been a pleasant experience working with The Org Smith team (formerly HR Strategies) and they are highly recommended for delivering good quality work.   

 

Workplace Safety and Health

We had hired The OrgSmith (formerly HR Strategies) to develop the workplace Safety and Health Strategy Map.  Shubha is an amazing facilitator. She is sharp to understand the issues we face at hand and has the ability to navigate and steer difficult conversations to bring out solutions, even when the atmosphere was tense and participants seemingly less cooperative. She cleverly used innovative approaches like creative drama to lighten the atmosphere and inject fun into serious conversations.

 

Special Education Branch- Ministry of Education

I had the opportunity to meet and work with Shubha Narayanan, partner The OrgSmith (formerly HR Strategies), as part of a consultation project with NCSS to review the job roles of Social Workers and Psychologists in the Special Needs Education Sector. 

Through the multiple workshops and meetings that were led by or facilitated by her, I was struck by Shubha’s intense and dedicated leadership by which she steered and guided the overall strategic process.  At the same time, I was very struck by her openness to learn, and to appreciate what she learnt!  This I felt stemmed from her sensitivity to and respect of, the views and voices of the diverse stakeholders which Shubha went out of her way to address or incorporate. 

It has been enriching working with Shubha and I would recommend her strongly.
